Delaware Muslim Funeral Home, Inc. and Muslim Cemetery of Delaware, Inc. are non-profit organizations providing complete janazah services since 2019. Our mission is to provide a place for preparing the janazah (body washing), performing salatul janazah (funeral prayer), and burial in a dedicated Muslim cemetery. Our vision is to keep these services low-cost for everyone and free for those who cannot afford such expenses at their time of grief and pain. The body washing facility is located within Masjid Isa ibn-e-Maryam in Newark, Delaware and the cemetery grounds are in Middletown, Delaware, only 20 minutes drive from the Masjid. These facilities are ideal for providing services to Muslims in the Tristate, Greater Delaware Valley and Chesapeake Bay areas (Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC).
